FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS, OUR LOVE BUG

DONATE IN MEMORY OF LONDON

LONDON'S BOTANICAL GARDEN

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you donate to London's Botanical Garden fund. We are designing + building a botanical garden on our property here in Cave Creek, Arizona in memory of London. It will be a place that Heather, Cole, Lane, Lavender and everyone who visits will be able to remember London.

Story

DETAILS

London Crabtree passed away on Monday, February 06, 2023 at the age of 15 at our home with family by her side, following her 6 year battle with Neuroblastoma (pediatric cancer.)

London was born in Scottsdale, Arizona on May 15, 2007 to parents, Cole and Heather Crabtree. Her siblings are 10 year old brother, Lane, and almost 3 year old sister, Lavender.

Everyone that knew London loved her. She was always thinking about others and how to give back. She inspired people all over the world. In London's true giving back character, she wanted to donate her body to  help doctors find a cure for Neuroblastoma. We were able to make her wish come true by donating blood, cells and tissue to Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine.

She loved playing Animal Crossing, Pokémon, Zelda and many other video games on her Nintendo Switch. Playing these games gave her a sense of normalcy while in the hospital or at home lying in her bed.

London was also a brilliant artist who loved to paint, draw on her iPad, sculpt with clay, and was even working on starting her own creative business selling stickers, prints, plushies and more of her signature characters Leafie, Mushie and Flower.

London’s memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends. We will honor her legacy by designing and creating London's Botanical Garden.

Since London wanted to donate her body to help other Neuroblastoma kids, there will not be a memorial service for her. Creating London's Botanical Garden will be how we celebrate and remember her forever.

HOW LONDON INSPIRED YOU

We hear every day how London has inspired people all over the world. We would love for you to share how she inspired you.

Heather,

It has taken me some time to write this. I met you through Facebook because of our children. Anesha spoke of London all the time and from that, I have watched both London and you through this journey create some beautiful memories. I truly am so sorry for this incredible loss and pray that God continues to give you grace and surround you with love. Fly high London. You have fought a good fight ❤️

I only knew London through Facebook posts. I had been a fan of her mom and Aunt for a while and followed London's page shortly after her diagnosis. Over the years, London became a very welcomed and familiar face on my feed. She fought so bravely and I admired her so deeply for being able to share joy and love and beautiful smiles while going through something so impossible.

I don't think I'll ever forget her and her bright bright light - What a force.

Lots of Love,

Denise Karis

Where to begin... London has had a tremendous impact upon our family in so many ways. From being Emma's best friend, to showing us what it truly means to be courageous, how to have a positive outlook - even during such dire times, and one of my favorite early on life lessons from London - how to properly give a back rub just like her daddy. This was so she could fall asleep during sleepovers... (Cole you spoiled your peanut and she loved every second of it!) I was lectured because I was not as good as her daddy. But London, as always, was very supportive and positive about it - "Don't worry, you'll get better" (Heather, you did warn me!!!). We wouldn't give up those sleepless sleepovers for anything...

London and Emma have a special bond that will never be broken...

Our hearts break with London's early departure from our, and everyones lives. She will always be apart of our family and her memory will live on....

Sweetest angel London may you be pain free and protect your family until you meet again. You are a gift from above that was lent to us for a short time. I was blessed to have met you and have you help design with me for Henny & Coco. Precious girl my heart aches for all you suffered and for your family. it wasn’t fair you went through all you did and we have no idea why “you”. May the good lord keep you safe and shine down on your family so they feel you close always. You will never be forgotten. 🙏🏼😇 Dance your heart out!
